Christchurch Earth Quake
- Sep 8 2010, 1:40 PM
Greetings This is just a brief report. I am very happy to say that all our members and family in CHCH are safe and sound. Hayden has visited some houses and taken them water. Great job! We have been keeping track of our people.
Many of us have volenteered for clean up work in the city.
We are meeting tonight to make some plans and work out some new systems. One of the items we will be discussing is the possibility of a city food storage for the club. Most of us have it to some degree for our own families. But we need a surplus stockpile of basics.
Our water storage plans in family homes have made sure we have fresh nice water while those who havnt saved water are boiling and drinking shit water. eeewww. Sucks to not be ready with the basics ah. We have just been filling fizy bottles with water and putting them around the house. Now we have plenty.
The after shocks are a pain in the bum, with so many its slowing progress to get the city up and running again. Great work for those on the ground from the departments. I do think its a bit slack that the Gov were slow to react really and they didnt commit enough resources right from the start. The show and tell stuff they are doing now doesnt make up for the people who have waited for days for any help.
This goes to show we must take care of our selves. they just say, stay at home and take care of yourself. So that is what we must do.
I urge all people to store some water and food. its not hard or even very expensive, some rice and tunna, with some bottles of water and if you want to add some bags of flour suger, salt and milk powder. Just do something!!
Because of the recent show about us and this desaster we have had a few people contact us. So our email address list has gone up. Our membership has increased and i will be flying up North ASAP to have a meeting with networking and such to our allies and friends.
Its a blessing that we have had no fatalities in the area as a result of the shake.
How Other Half Lives

Well the show has been shown now. Thanks to oil crash Robert we have a link to the show on Youtube. I will do a report ASAP about the show and some of the bits the were missed out. It was uncanny the timing with regard to the Christchurch Earth Quake. Many of us are still in Christchurch getting on with things best we can.
Marc Ellis on Survive Club Camp!
- Jul 15 2010, 2:37 PM
Hi People
News update for the survive club programme with Marc Ellis on "How the otherhalf Lives" will be due to be aired on Mondays at 8 pm from the 6th of September. So we expect ours to be the first or second programme they show. We're confident there will be some adds before then and will probably be on TV1.We are hoping they do what it was agreed, and be based totally on the surviveclub, It may however be funny and a bit of a piss take as that is Marks style, but we figure its better then the media hate monger style.
We will put up some photos ASAP.
Kyle

Update For Survive Club
- Jul 13 2010, 10:10 AM
Greetings Friends and viewers
We have been active even though our site hasnt been updated for awhile.
Our Auckland Branch now has regular camps and tramps around their deployment area.
Our Wellington Branch is busy with some projects including fundraising.
In Christchurch we have had a few things going on. Including a good sized camp that will be on TV in the near future with Mark Elice.
All over the country we have had a shift in some of our process. We have grown tired of people who waste our time. So we have had a clean up, and like to think we are left with the better members. Those who are willing to go that extra mile to get things done for the themselves to survive and to contribute to the club.
We expect our members to get their own equipment, give donations to help the Club do what it has to for our future survival and we expect people to keep their politics at home. We are a Positive group of people with all sorts of ideas. We work with other survival groups including the Branch that broke away from us after the 20/20 Prog.
We are happy with what we have. Our Human resources are great.
If you are interested in knowing more then please contact me. However please have a look through our sight so you see who we are so you know who and what we are. Patriots, Survivalists, Hunters, Fishermen and many skilled men with Trades and education along with those who have practicle skills and others who are willing to learn and particapate.
