Marc Ellis on Survive Club Camp!
- Jul 15 2010, 2:37 PM
Hi People
News update for the survive club programme with Marc Ellis on "How the otherhalf Lives" will be due to be aired on Mondays at 8 pm from the 6th of September. So we expect ours to be the first or second programme they show. We're confident there will be some adds before then and will probably be on TV1.We are hoping they do what it was agreed, and be based totally on the surviveclub, It may however be funny and a bit of a piss take as that is Marks style, but we figure its better then the media hate monger style.
We will put up some photos ASAP.
Kyle

Update For Survive Club
- Jul 13 2010, 10:10 AM
Greetings Friends and viewers
We have been active even though our site hasnt been updated for awhile.
Our Auckland Branch now has regular camps and tramps around their deployment area.
Our Wellington Branch is busy with some projects including fundraising.
In Christchurch we have had a few things going on. Including a good sized camp that will be on TV in the near future with Mark Elice.
All over the country we have had a shift in some of our process. We have grown tired of people who waste our time. So we have had a clean up, and like to think we are left with the better members. Those who are willing to go that extra mile to get things done for the themselves to survive and to contribute to the club.
We expect our members to get their own equipment, give donations to help the Club do what it has to for our future survival and we expect people to keep their politics at home. We are a Positive group of people with all sorts of ideas. We work with other survival groups including the Branch that broke away from us after the 20/20 Prog.
We are happy with what we have. Our Human resources are great.
If you are interested in knowing more then please contact me. However please have a look through our sight so you see who we are so you know who and what we are. Patriots, Survivalists, Hunters, Fishermen and many skilled men with Trades and education along with those who have practicle skills and others who are willing to learn and particapate.

Paintball Advance and Ambush Training This was one of the best turn outs we have had in the south so far. Because of the recent media many of our own friends and less active members have started coming more often along with new people who joined through the internet. This made for a much more event full day, with lots of people making the games longer and more intense. We did two main training scenarios: The First was to get everyone working in units and learn the hand signals needed for quite communications. We also did training in the fast covered attack. This wasn’t because we think it’s a good idea, or for the practice of running at a covered position, it was simply to get the hang of working in a few teams on the same field. It worked out very well. (See video feed) The other Training was to learn to patrol and avoid ambush. This was also a very good learning event, as at the last moment when we thought we had taken out the ambush team their last member appeared from behind us and shot us all. Showing how valuable it is to have the guy keeping watch at the rear. Our rear guy had been shot earlier and we didn’t replace him. The last game was to practice two patrols advancing against each other. However it turned into a series of ambushes. When a few of us had been shot and went to the reload area, we decided to make a new team and go back to the battle and attack both teams to make things more interesting. Showing that you never know what could happen in a survival type situation in combat.
